Recording Formats

Wire Recorder - We are one on the few studios to still utilize the Wire Recorder ( pre - tape ) our machine works great and we have plenty of blank reels available.
2" 24 track reel to reel - Otari MTR-90 (30ips), the industry standard workhorse (think Pink Floyd)
Tascam DA - 38 / 88 - We use this Digital format because the tape is inexpensive, easy to work with and they have a warm sound (for this era of digital technology).
1/4" Telefunken Magnetophon 15a - mastering deck 30 ips. We are the only studio in the USA to own 2 on these machines ( yes they sound incredible) pure analog mix down from 2" to 1/4 " 30ips Telefunken) it doesn't get better.
Mobile Recording - We will record on site via DA - 38 / 88
Computer - We are looking into a lap top computer system and the best format to suit our needs be it Motu / Digital performer, Pro tools or RADAR.
Direct to Disc 78 rpm Recorder - Send your new project to a major record Label on 78 rpm discs (we have lots of blank 78 rpm discs).
1/4" - 1/4 Track - Teac - For Transfers to CD, 3 3/4, 7 1/2, 15 IPS

Console / Desk - Amek Angela 28-channel in-line console - "The Legendary Classic"
